OpenRBI Asset Manager helps engineers move from individual equipment assessments to a clear portfolio-level view of risk, inspection status, and data quality.
Each OpenRBI equipment assessment still stands on its own. The responsible engineer remains accountable for verifying source information, interpreting the results, and authorising all integrity and inspection decisions. Asset Manager does not replace that judgment. Instead, it consolidates engineer-authorised structured TXT files so risk concentrations, overdue work, incomplete data, unresolved recommendations, and assets requiring review are easier to see.
The process is simple:
Inspection records feed into an OpenRBI equipment assessment. Once the assessment is completed and authorised, it is exported as a structured TXT file. OpenRBI Asset Manager reads multiple authorised TXT files and combines them into one portfolio view.
This matters because individual assessments answer questions about one item of equipment. At plant, unit, or site level, engineers also need to understand how those assets compare. Which items are highest risk? Which have become worse since the previous assessment? Which inspections are overdue or close to due? Where is the data weak, incomplete, or inconsistent? Which damage mechanisms are recurring across the portfolio? Which recommendations and limitations remain open?
OpenRBI Asset Manager is built for that review.
The tool summarises loaded assets, high-risk items, overdue inspections, data issues, risk increases, and engineering-review flags. It also provides focused views for risk rankings, high-risk and overdue equipment, inspection timing, data quality, common damage mechanisms, unresolved recommendations, limitations, similar-asset comparisons, and review shortlists.
For similar assets, the tool can help identify inconsistencies that may otherwise be missed. Assets with the same equipment type and service can be compared for differences in risk level, inspection timing, and stated damage mechanisms. These differences do not automatically mean an assessment is wrong, but they do show where engineering attention may be warranted.
The value of OpenRBI Asset Manager is in making the portfolio easier to interrogate. It helps engineers find exceptions, patterns, and gaps across many authorised assessments without having to manually compare every file one by one.
